Shakira was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She relocated to Baton Rouge, La to attend Southern University and A&M College where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. Shakira currently resides in Denham Springs, La and is the youngest of two siblings. She is married and is a dog mom to her adorable baby Princess. She enjoys cooking, traveling, listening to music, and spending time with loved ones. Her professional career in social services aids her in guiding her clients throughout the home buying process. She believes that the goal of homeownership should be attainable for everyone.
Shakira’s interest in real estate began after she purchased her first home. She was scared, had tons of questions with no one to truly guide her throughout the homebuying process. She wanted better for those around her, so she began talking to others about how they too can achieve their dream of home ownership. After purchasing her second home with her husband she decided to obtain her real estate license. Shakira has made it her mission to educate individuals on the benefits of homeownership because as a homeowner, she understands that a home is not only a place to live, but an investment. Furthermore, she is committed to providing an enjoyable, memorable experience to her clients in their efforts to building generational wealth through home ownership!
