Leela was born in Hammond and grew up in Griffith, Indiana. After a brief move to Illinois, she came back to her home state to raise her family. Leela currently resides in Valparaiso, Indiana with her husband, teenage daughter and two fur babies. She enjoys spending time with her family, trips to Indiana Dunes to walk her dogs along Lake Michigan, dining in many of the wonderful downtown Valparaiso restaurants or seeing the latest play at the Memorial Opera House theatre.
